Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary
The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Neratov is a unique pilgrimage site that, after years of decay, has been transformed into a vibrant center of spiritual and community life. The Baroque church, built between 1723 and 1733, was severely damaged at the end of World War II and left abandoned for a long time. Thanks to the efforts of the Neratov Association and the local parish, the church was saved and is now known for its unique glass roof, which symbolizes openness and hope.
You can visit the church all year round. Its towers, restored to their original form with Baroque domes, serve as lookout points, and in one of them you will find a meditation space. In the Neratov complex there is also an inn, the protected workshop Kitchen, an information centre, the Garden of Reconciliation with animals, and the Prorok brewery. Below the church by the main road there is a large car park available.
